FoundHoney is where music, fashion, and healing converge. This creative force invites listeners into a space where vulnerability is celebrated, and empowerment thrives. Read more about how one of this month’s February spotlights is championing Black women to embrace their emotions through her unapologetic art.
FoundHoney’s work is a testament to the beauty that exists in tragedy, as she transforms pain into strength, inviting others to do the same.

“I create music that champions vulnerability and empowerment while building a space for people—especially Black women—to embrace their emotions unapologetically,” she shares.
When asked about her sound, FoundHoney describes it as “raw, introspective, and deeply empowering.” She shares that she is welcoming a community that is honest and liberating.
“My music is an invitation to release, connect, and grow,” FoundHoney adds.
She calls her community of supporters “Heart Strings,” a reflection of their shared resonance with the emotional depth in her music. Through a commitment to emotional freedom and authenticity, FoundHoney is creating a movement for self-expression, unapologetically centering Black women’s stories and experiences.
Her inspirations range from Lauryn Hill and Nikki Giovanni to SZA and BBYMUTHA, and their influence is clear in the way she weaves lyricism and introspection into her art. FoundHoney’s journey began with poetry and theatre, where she first discovered the power of storytelling and connection. Over time, her artistry evolved into a multidimensional brand, blending music, fashion, and healing.
“My art isn’t just about me,” the multi-faceted artist explains. “It’s about building a movement that empowers others.”
As Black History Month takes center stage this month, FoundHoney’s work stands as a powerful tribute to the beauty, strength, complexity and art of Black women. She is motivated by the work of legendary writers, poets and artists of the past.

“I use my music and platform to highlight the beauty and resilience of Black women’s stories,” she details. Inspired by the timeless works of Zora Neale Hurston and Ntozake Shange, FoundHoney is contributing to a legacy of authenticity and healing.
“My work reminds us that healing and empowerment are revolutionary acts in our community.”
FoundHoney’s holistic approach to creativity also sets her apart. By blending music, fashion, and sustainability with emotional depth, she’s redefining what it means to be a Black artist in an industry often focused on trends.
“In a world full of noise, authenticity cuts through,” she speaks of her uniqueness.
For the progressive artist, innovation lies in staying true to her story and using her platform to create a meaningful impact. FoundHoney’s performances are another nod to her connection with her audience. She credits sharing unreleased music during live shows as a way to create a unique moment of intimacy and surprise.
“Performing live and seeing my audience resonate with my lyrics has been incredibly affirming,” she reveals. “Sharing unreleased songs at shows has been especially memorable—I love the element of surprise and the deeper connection it creates. Those moments remind me that we’re all in this together.”
FoundHoney’s latest collaboration “Charlie Brown” featuring Hancho KeepItSolid made waves across social media with consistent bars, captivating visuals and a flow that will turn any listener into a longtime fan. With a few singles in her discography, the Tennessee artist is intentionally releasing music that aligns with her values and artistry.
Her transparency and willingness to transform in real time demonstrate that growth isn’t just an artistic choice—it’s a lifestyle.
For FoundHoney, giving back is also a key to her evolution as an artist and entrepreneur. “Giving creates a cycle of abundance,” she notes. “By investing in my community through my music, visuals, and storytelling, I’m building a foundation for deeper connections and long-term impact. I want to grow alongside my audience.”

She’s building something that lasts far beyond her music. FoundHoney went on to share her advice for other artists carving their own path.
“Be true to yourself and your story,” she advises. “Stay consistent, stay intentional, and never underestimate the power of vulnerability. Keep people around who remind you of your core values, and let your inner voice guide you!”
As FoundHoney continues to grow, she’s excited to expand her brand into new territories. From sustainable fashion to wellness workshops, her vision extends beyond music, creating spaces where emotional intelligence and healing thrive.
“I’m a vessel for truth, breaking boxes and charting new territory,” she says.
FoundHoney’s artistry is more than entertainment—it’s a revolution in self-expression, a reminder to embrace healing as both a process and a powerful act of liberation. She’s a great example of the many ways today’s next wave of artists are creating their own legacy in modern day Black History, and we love to see it.
